UNC Hospitals wins Food Management 2013 Best Concepts Award
the Best Customer Concept Award for their Restaurant Delivery Program. Their program was developed as a labor-neutral alternative to a room service program. The program includes the addition of retail menu options on their room service patient menu providing additional options for their patients. UNC was able to achieve a decline in their food costs with the new program.
